Butter Chicken

I have never tasted butter chicken better than this. This dish is literally heaven and paradise mixed into one. Perfect creaminess with the right kick of spice. All other butter chickens are inferior, it's just a fact of life.

Desi Salad

This is my favorite thing to eat in the world. The flavor profile is perfect. Somehow both rich and light, tangy, sweet, savory, all in balance.

Sev Potato Dahi Puri (SPDP)

Incredibly refreshing. The spices are phenomenal. Best when eaten in one bite. Highly recommend as an appetizer any time you go.

Matchstick Okra Fries

Being an Asheville native, part of me wants to gatekeep my city's most prized possession. I'm tempted to speak ill of the savory, crunchy kale pekoras that pair spectacularly with the green chutney. Not sure vegetables should taste that good. Whatever you do, DON'T order the butter chicken. It will only prepare you for a life time of disappointment from every other average butter chicken you taste. I probably shouldn't even mention the garlic naan and daal. This simple-seeming combo is a staple to Indian cuisine that perfectly combines rich flavors of spices with a warm nutty taste. The matchstick okra fries are just mehhh, better skip. They are new spin on extra-crispy, salty fries you know and love. A little bit of lime and yogurt really take them to the next level, suspiciously too good. The Bhel Puri and Chaat give me fond memories of days in India. These dishes are the backbone of Indian street food, and Chai Pani will not disappoint. And finally, for anyone that knows a little bit about chai, you know it is an art. Perfecting a cup of chai is easier said than done. If you're looking for your favorite Starbucks chai latte, you'll probably want to pass because I'm not sure your ready for this. Now, some real talk. If you love flavor and food, then you cannot miss out on a place like this. It's true, I hate having to wait hours to eat at my fav childhood restaurant, but I can't contain my love and pride for this restaurant. If you are in Asheville, this is a must.
